Key Testing Standards for Toys in the US, EU, and China

You must comply with different testing standards and regulations depending on where you want to sell your toys and children’s products. Here are some of the significant testing standards for toys in the US, EU and China:

United States (US):

ASTM F963: Covers toy safety including mechanical and physical properties, flammability, toxicity, and labeling.
CPSIA: The Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act mandates third-party testing and restricts certain substances in toys.

European Union (EU):

EN 71 Series: Specifies toy safety requirements, including mechanical properties, flammability, chemicals, and specific toy categories.
